Our Directors
John Cartwright
I am a highly motivated and very experienced Director who has almost 30 years’ experience in the construction industry with my focus being on solutions.
I have worked in many sectors including Education, Healthcare, Residential, Highways, Civil Engineering, Gas and Oil projects up to 50 million.
I spent the first 15 years of my career working for national Main Contractors and have 10 years’ experience as a Commercial Director working for a Civil Engineering company with a turnover of just under 50 million.
I have a significant breadth of knowledge and technical experience spanning the full project lifecycle. I am a risk and quantum expert and have a vast experience of negotiating and administrating JCT & NEC main contracts and sub-contracts and dispute resolution.

Michael Storey
I am a highly experienced Quantity Surveyor with over 12 years’ experience specialising in Civil Engineering and Groundworks.
I have achieved a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying and have successfully overseen projects ranging in value from £100,000 to in excess of £10 million. I have extensive experience in tendering and estimating, including cost planning, bill preparation, and competitive tender submissions, providing accurate and commercially sound pricing from early feasibility through to contract award. I have a strong understanding of cost management, procurement, and contract administration, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on budget, and to the highest standard. My practical, detail-driven approach and in-depth industry knowledge makes me a trusted commercial lead from pre-construction through to final account.
