1) Consultants

3) Trades/Subcontractors
Hauxley Group operates a robust, education-focused approved framework of suppliers and subcontractors specifically vetted to work within school and academy environments, giving Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs) confidence that every contractor engaged is compliant, competent and safeguarding-aware. All framework partners are subject to rigorous due diligence, including enhanced DBS checks where required, verified accreditations, health & safety compliance, and proven experience delivering construction and maintenance projects in live educational settings.
For MATs, this means rapid access to trusted, pre-approved contractors who understand safeguarding protocols, minimise disruption to learning, provide competitive quotations quickly, and consistently deliver high-quality workmanship within agreed programmes and budgets.
For contractors joining the framework, Hauxley Group provides structured support that extends beyond project allocation — including assistance with website development and marketing, business development opportunities within the education sector, contract and commercial guidance, RAMS and health & safety documentation support, policy development and accreditation pathways, enhanced DBS coordination, improved cashflow through reliable payment terms, advice on PPE and equipment standards, programme management support, and participation in committee and annual meetings to align with DfE funding cycles and priorities.
This dual-benefit model ensures MATs receive dependable, compliant delivery partners, while framework members gain sustainable growth, operational support and long-term access to education-sector opportunities.
HGL APPROVED PARTNER FRAMEWORK PATHWAY

Pre Qualification Application
To join the Hauxley Group Framework, all businesses must complete a pre-qualification process to ensure they meet the required standards for working within the Trust.
The pre-qualification includes:
- Completion of a structured questionnaire assessing company standards, experience, and compliance
- A follow-up discussion to determine suitability and identify any additional requirements for framework inclusion
- Submission of relevant documentation where required, including (but not limited to):
- Evidence of right to work
- Relevant qualifications and certifications
- Insurance documentation
- Compliance and safeguarding information (where applicable)
This process ensures that all approved partners are verified, compliant, and fully fit to undertake work within the Multi-Academy Trust.
The aim is to maintain high standards across the framework while creating a clear, supportive route for businesses to gain approved status.
Approval By Independent Committee
All pre-qualification applications are subject to formal review and approval by a multi-disciplinary committee to ensure consistency, transparency, and robust governance.
The approval panel includes representation from:
- A Headteacher
- A Project Manager
- A Quantity Surveyor
- A Solicitor
This structure ensures that applications are assessed from educational, operational, commercial, and legal perspectives. The committee reviews submitted documentation, compliance standards, and overall suitability before confirming framework approval.
This process provides assurance that all appointed partners meet the professional, financial, safeguarding, and regulatory standards required to operate within the Hauxley Group framework.

Structured, Safe and Controlled Delivery
Hauxley Group provides end-to-end project management for school estate works, delivering projects safely, compliantly, and with minimal disruption to education. Our model is built on strong governance, clear communication, and rigorous control of programme, cost, quality, and risk.
All works are managed in full compliance with CDM regulations, with enhanced DBS-cleared personnel and holiday scheduling wherever possible to maintain a secure, uninterrupted school environment.
Project managers oversee planning, contractor coordination, compliance, cost control, risk management, quality assurance, and reporting — providing Trust leaders with clear visibility and confidence throughout delivery.
Safeguarding is embedded at every stage, with controlled site access, secure separation from pupils, and alignment with Trust procedures, Martyn’s Law, and DfE Specification 25, while integrating sustainability to support long-term estate resilience and value for money.
Annual Review
At the end of each 12-month framework period, Hauxley Group will conduct a review of the previous year’s performance, assessing delivery, partnership effectiveness, and overall success across the framework. Approved partners will be invited to review their involvement and confirm whether they wish to renew their place on the framework for the year ahead. As part of this review process, Hauxley Group will also share updates on any newly secured Multi-Academy Trust contracts and upcoming opportunities, ensuring partners are fully informed of future growth and potential workstreams.
